High protein and low calories is a great way to build new muscle growth and tone up existing loose muscles. Planning meals ahead of time is a good idea. This will help to keep the right amount of calories, carbohydrates, and protein incorporated into the diet.

Consuming less of fat and more protein is essential to maintaining a balanced diet. Consumption of high protein food and low in fat are always best, as it will get the metabolism running consistently. Boneless chicken meets the requirement as well since it’s packed with high protein and the nutrients the body needs. Other good food to consider are baked potato, green beans, and corn. Condiments are not your friend. Try staying away from adding anything extra to foods. Adding items like butter, ketchup or sauces is not a good. Fruits are good to have as a snack they are low calorie and low in fat. Try adding some fruit to cottage cheese for a simple snack that give protein and a good taste. Wheat thins with low fat cream cheese and fruit or a vegetable is also good. The protein will help with building muscles.

A well planned balance diet is the key to improve workout. The muscles can only build if it has all the right amount of protein. Again, low calorie and high protein diets are much more effective to help increase the workout results and even time.

A martial artist master beginning workouts are easy, simple, and effective. Bruce Lee exercised nonstop, controlling his muscles and using all his muscles until the whole workout completed. Many of his starting workouts are easy to start with. Anyone can change up on how they want to do things in order.

Barbell Squat – 2 sets of 12 reps

Bruce Lee did a lot of compound exercises as this strengthened his body’s endurance. When practicing the Squat, spread legs about 2 feet apart with barbell on shoulders, go down like you’re going to sit, as your thighs are straight parallel to the ground then come back up without pausing. Muscles that gets worked out while performing the squat: hips, gluteal, quadriceps, hamstrings, and calves.

Barbell Pullovers – 2 sets of 8 reps

How to perform this? To use proper equipment you should use a flat bench to lie back on. Use two hands to hold the equipment just over your head about 10 inches. Then, slowly lower it down towards the ground with elbows slightly bent. When reached as far as you are comfortable with, come back up and repeat the same step.

As always, Bench Press with 2 sets of 6 reps each

Bruce knew that a great martial artist needed a solid rib cage to be able to take punches and kicks to that area. The exercise is suppose to be expanding your rib cage for it to be right. Make sure you lie down on the right bench press. Hold up the bars and slowly let it drop close to your chest and bring it back up. Simple and effective.

Very commonly, Do Barbell Curls with 2 sets of 8 reps

Bruce used this method himself to pull or throw things around. Grappling will require much more curls than it would for a striker as quick as Bruce Lee. Biceps are the main concern when doing curls.

Always make sure you warm up the muscles by stretching. When ready, hold the barbell across and on the shoulders, simply just bend forward but keep your legs and back straight.

Like any type of workout exercises, in no time, these reps will be too easy to accomplish without gaining more strength. You should find more ways to increase the methods or increase the reps. Bruce Lee started small and improved dramatically all because he was focused.
