<p>One of the biggest mistakes you can make as a beginner is to imitate pro bodybuilder. Pros have been bodybuilding for years, add to that the fact that many of them are genetically gifted with a good body. Copying their exercises is not going to get you anywhere. One of the best ways to gain body mass is to become stronger. The stronger you are the more muscle you will put on.</p>
<p>You need to start by doing strength building exercises. You need not visit a gym to start exercising on the latest machines known to man but a simple old fashioned barbell will work great. When you lift free weights it enables you to become stronger which in turn means that your body will put on more lean muscle mass. This is because the thighs are the biggest muscles in your body. So if you desire big arms you still need to exercise your thighs to achieve that.</p>
<p>Eating the right foods is more important than lifting weights. You need to eat foods that are high in proteins and good carbohydrates. Your body needs its proper does of vitamins and minerals in order for it to build muscle.</p>

If it is your first time walking the course, you could start out by walking a number of holes and alternate some holes by riding in the cart (presuming you have some golf partners that can take turns driving the cart for you.) Gradually increase the number of holes that you walk per round until you can manage to walk easily the 18-holes every time.</p>

Big pecs will make a man look tough, confident, and strong, possibly even more so than well-developed arms or abs.</p>
<p>So what is the key to getting big pecs? There is no one simple method that ensure that you&#8217;ll suddenly have massive pecs. It will take a lot of work and motivation to get where you desire to be. It may require more than just changing your workout routine, although that plays an essential role.</p>
<p>The first thing that you should do if you want to get nice pecs is to prevent straining yourself. A lot of people believe that if they work their pecs to the point of exhaustion, they&#8217;ll get bigger faster. However, it can actually be very harmful to do this.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re already working out heavily, then working out more isn&#8217;t going to help your pec situation. You&#8217;ll only exhaust yourself and hurt your muscles without seeing much gain. Rather, you should concentrate on making your work out more efficient.</p>

<p>Building muscle mass and doing quickly requires extreme commitment and dedication. Anyone can choose to follow a path to building muscle, however there are many who jump in full throttle without doing the research first. This mistake leads to a plateau which in turn leaves the person frustrated, and eventually they quit. Below, I will show some important tips to build muscle mass quickly, correctly and most importantly; safely.</p>
<p>A good foundation for muscle growth.</p>
<p>Firstly, the first and very common plateau that bodybuilders reach is usually 2-3 months away from the day they begin training in the gym. During this time, they will be unable to increase their weights and hence, they fail to make any further gains in muscle mass. The cause of the plateau is usually a bad foundation. When you begin weight training, you have to start off with at least 10 strength training workouts. These workouts serve to prepare your body for high intensity workouts. To prepare your body well for muscle growth, you will have to train with lighter weights with high repetitions and excellent form for these 10 workouts.</p>
<p>Focusing solely on the upper body.</p>
<p>The next common mistake bodybuilders make is that they focus solely on building up the upper body. This mistake also leads to a plateau. Inexperienced bodybuilders tend to focus on the upper body mainly because that is the part you can see. Areas such as the abs, arms and chest what are what everyone sees and wants to change. However, in order to build muscle mass, all areas of the body must receive the same attention. Muscle groups such as the thighs are highly important and should not be ignored.</p>
<p>Doing Too Much Of Isolated Exercises.</p>
<p>Exercises that train only a certain muscle group are called isolated exercise. This is another common mistake beginners make. Bicep curls and tricep extensions are a couple of examples of these exercises. In order to achieve muscle mass, the entire body must be included in the exercise regimen. Therefore, compound exercises must be implemented. These exercises allow the muscles to achieve higher weight which in turn forces them to adapt to the increase and grow.</p>

<p>Ask most little boys and they&#8217;ll tell you they want to look like their superhero one day-were you one of them? Building muscle mass is what you need to realizing this boyhood dream. It matters little that you&#8217;ve always been kind of thin; with discipline and perseverance, you too can build chest muscles like that of champions.</p>
<p>Understand that to get big muscles you need to get big first. What does that mean? Eat eat and keep eating. Your calorie intake each day should be around the neighborhood of 3,000 to 6,000 units. Sound like a lot right? Yes it does; but if you&#8217;re planning on bulking up this is what you need to hit. Load up on healthy food like lean meat, chicken and fish. Take a slice of pie or a few chips once in a while but as a whole you need to keep to the healthier fare.</p>
<p>If you are on your way to building muscle mass, your calorie ratio should be as follows: 50% carbohydrates, 30% protein and 20% fat. Keep in mind that a gram of fat is equivalent to nine calories while a gram of both protein and carbohydrates are equivalent to four calories. </p>
<p>As soon as you have your food plan in, let us concentrate on the next part of getting a great chest which is the appropriate workout regimen for you. Always start your training with thorough stretching and a sufficient warm up to get the blood flowing to the rest of your body. This prepares it for exercise, even optimizes the condition of your body so it will be prepared for the incoming barrage of physical pain and soreness.</p>
<p>If you are a beginner, start with higher repetitions and lower weights. An example of a program you can use is this: 3 sets, 12 reps of bench press using 40 lbs; 3 sets, 12 reps of dumbbell flyes using 10 lbs; and 3 sets, 12 reps of dumbbell pullovers using 20 lbs. In a few weeks, add to your program by incorporating: 3 sets, 12 reps of incline bench press using 30 lbs; and 3 sets, 12 reps decline bench press using 20 lbs. Keep track of your improvement. Eventually you need to lift higher weight loads and lower your reps.</p>
<p>Remember to change the weights and drills of your workout program to keep it effective. Hit the target area in different angles-this challenges the muscles to grow even faster. Dumbbell flyes especially isolate the pecs to ensure that you incorporate this often in your training routine.</p>
<p>Observe that you do not risk under training your other body parts even if your main objective is to build chest muscles. You don&#8217;t want to be the man with a barrel chest walking around in chopsticks legs right? Set aside two to three days training the other muscle groups.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s about it; focus on building muscle mass, have a balanced diet and do the right exercises in the correct form. It won&#8217;t be long before you get that strong and muscular chest you&#8217;ve been working hard for. There&#8217;s one last thing you will need to do, enjoy! Physical training really is one of the most gratifying experiences you can have-not only will you get a great physique; you will also gain a healthy and fulfilling life anybody would be lucky to have.</p>

<p>Building muscle mass presents a different challenge than weight loss programs; whichever path you decide to pursue, retain the unrelenting attitude of a winner who will not take less than success in their training. For optimal muscle development, exercise only around 2 to 4 days a week and take the rest of the days off getting quality rest. That&#8217;s right-it&#8217;s time to start going home more because a permanent gym residence won&#8217;t get you to your destination faster. Rest is actually an important body building factor. Sleep repairs torn muscle tissues and grows them back stronger and bigger than before.</p>
<p>As you execute your drills, remember to use momentum in raising the weights and deliberate control in descending. Doing this gives your body increased body mass, strength and endurance. Ensure that you always have the correct form as you exercise so you don&#8217;t take unnecessary risks of injury to other body parts. A simple shift in position is sometimes all you need to improve the particular exercise.</p>
<p>Beginners usually start with lower weight loads and higher repetitions. As you continue to progress, your body becomes more familiar to receiving physical stress that training gives. Constantly push your body to its maximum endurance capacity. As much as you are able, have a spotter nearby to assist you in the heavier loads. Never compromise your safety in your training even if you are in a rush to build your muscles.</p>
<p>Anyone who has attempted to work out in the past knows the familiar face of muscle soreness and it is felt in the next few days. When certain muscles are especially sore, do not exercise them until they feel normal again. They need to be restored properly but you can train the other muscle groups in the meantime. For example, train the chest and biceps one day; then work out your back and shoulders another day. A 1 to 2 minute rest in between sets is advisable.</p>
<p>General rule of thumb: if your aim is to lose weight, try a high aerobic training, low calorie diet; if building muscle mass is your goal, the opposite is what you want to do. Simply put, eat a lot. Check what your body type is but on average, you will want to take around 3000 calories a day. This doesn&#8217;t mean it&#8217;s time to throw a one man pizza eating marathon though, a sensible eating plan should still be observed. Maintain a diet rich in protein, fiber and carbohydrates. Get information on recommended supplements and protein shakes that can fill in needed nutrients in your diet. </p>
