Creatine is a chemical substance that a lot of people know very little about. It is for this reason that people suffer from various debilitating illnesses because they know very little about the creatine in supplements and the side effects of creatine. Therefore it is important to shed a bit of light on this potentially harmful substance.

Creatine is an amino acid that is responsible for the growth of body tissue. It is produced by the kidneys and liver and it is eventually stored up in the muscles. For the most part this storage place for creatine means that it is used as an energy reserve to supply the muscles with strength. Therefore it makes sense that creatine is taken in the form of inorganic supplements that function in exactly the same manner, it’s just that the body doesn’t make them.

When creatine reaches unmanageable levels in the body what happens is that you can experience muscle cramps. Muscle cramps are mainly triggered by dehydration. Believe it or not but creatine absorbs water. So when there is too much creatine in the body there are certain areas of the body that become dehydrated and that is when muscle cramps are experienced.

Another known side effect of creatine is the gaining of extra weight. This occurs along the same lines as muscle cramps, the only difference is that weight gain occurs in parts of the body that absorb water as a direct result of the existence of excessive amounts of creatine.

Diabetes can emerge or worsen if glycemic sugars are taken in order to enhance the uptake of creatine by the body. Glycemic sugars eventually accumulate in the system to the point where insulin meant to breakdown sugars fails to execute this function effectively. So when the glycemic sugars are not broken down by insulin the sugar levels in the body become intolerable to the point where diabetes sets in or worsens.

But these are not the only side effects of creatine. When creatine is taken in excess you can experience heat exhaustion and kidney stones. Other side effects are damage to the kidneys; liver and blood vessels owing to diabetes.

Are you taking creatine monohydrate? It’s imperative you learn the side effects of creatine, now. Learn little known facts, now.

If you are a fitness trainer or involved in strength training or heavy workouts, you are likely interested in learning about supplements. This is a relatively new supplement on the market that is found naturally existing in our bodies and meats that we consume on a regular basis. Because it is natural, it is much safer then many other supplements, drugs, or steroids, but you can still experience the fitness benefits of using creatine. It is actually an amino acid that is produced in our bodies by the liver and kidneys. Once it is produced, it is stored until needed for extra energy.

Many are worried about the risks associated with taking this supplement. While it is always good to be aware of any negative side effects, of all the studies conducted on this supplement, none have come back with any negative feedback. As of yet, there are no known risks associated with creatine.

For those athletes working out for a special event or competition, creatine can be a major benefit. One reason for this is that it will help fuel your body with energy to help you maximize workout time and stretch it to the longest possible time frame. This gives the body an extra boost of energy to allow you to train for longer periods of time. If you are planning on trying to increase your endurance and muscle mass, this may be a good route for your to consider.

Yes, creatine will help grow your muscles bigger and stronger faster. This is one benefit that all men are searching for without the side effects of other potentially harmful drugs. The amino acids help your body to produce and store glycogen, this helping along the process.

Most fitness gurus eat extremely healthy and work hard at getting the right nutrition into their bodies. Many are vegetarians, and they find other ways to get protein in their diet, but still need a creatine supplement.

As with all supplements or medicines, you should take care whenever you are putting something into your body. Read the label and instructions carefully and ensure that you are taking no more than the recommended dosage levels. Use common sense and you will be happy to benefit from this natural supplement.

There are a load of folks trying gain muscle around the world, many of them do not know about creatine supplements. If you want to take it, you will have to know how to take creatine.

Whilst it may remain legal as part of an athlete’s training regime, the use of creatine is still controversial. And whilst the damage caused is certainly far less than those experienced with anabolic steroids, there are definite creatine side effects.

The use of creatine has risen dramatically over the last decade, helped by constant publicizing from high profile celebrities. However, that it has been shown to increase muscle bulk, boost stamina, and improve performance by up to ten percent, the rise has also been factually supported.

It is also found naturally within the human body; being a fundamental part of the building material for muscle tissue. In synthetic form, it is consumed by the body rapidly; and thus feeds muscle growth at a much faster rate, aiding repair and recovery.

However, forcing the muscles to develop in this way causes issues. Energy supply to such muscles will expire at a quicker rate; resulting in cramps. This is a painful condition, and can lead to further complications over time.

It is also likely that the product could have a reaction in the digestive system; resulting in stomach cramps and diarrhea. Whilst these are less common than cramps in the legs and arms; they can be extremely dangerous.

This is certainly the case regards diarrhea where long instances of the condition can severely debilitate; causing dehydration and malnutrition. At the very least, they will nullify any beneficial effects of the product.

If you do feel you may be experiencing an adverse reaction to taking creatine, you should certainly reduce the dose. If they continue, consumption should be stopped immediately and you should consider consulting a medical professional.

Reports of creatine side effects are increasing; but so is use of the product. If you are worried, it is likely that getting help from a sports nutritionist, and arranging a personalized training program would provide just as much benefit as the product can give.

There may be some creatine side effects that you may feel. When creatine use is part of your daily life, read up to learn more. Go online today and find out more.

Today you can find many sportspeople and athletes who take fitness supplements on a regular basis, and for good reason. Studies have proven that supplements which contain creatine can increase energy levels, boost muscle mass, and enhance stamina. To ensure the desired outcome it is good to know how to make the best use of creatine.

Some supplements get a lot of bad press but creatine is safe to use. The only issue will be just how big you want your physique to get. Creatine actually occurs naturally within our bodies, by consuming a supplement we will only be adding to the effect.

If you want to achieve your best potential through taking creatine then there are different methods you could try. Many people choose to take creatine twice daily; once just before working out and again afterwards. Positive results have also been achieved by taking a higher dosage for the first week and then a low dosage for another three or four weeks.

It will help you in the digestion of creatine if you drink around one gallon of water each day and increase your intake of carbohydrate rich food. This is because your body will then be able to absorb the supplement quicker and more effectively.

You will see almost immediately the effects of creatine on the body. If you plan to take these supplements on a daily basis then it is vital to maintain your exercising to be able to build bigger muscles.

Thousands of people have found themselves with a physique that they never thought would be possible. You will have muscles to impress any man or woman in the gym and will have the added energy to enhance your performance. Creatine can make a real difference.

In order to find out how to use creatine the right way, then you should check out some of the knowledge we have to provide you in these websites in the resource box. Also, you can find out about how to be careful about creatine effects.

There are many exercises that can be done to target the “traps” or Trapezius muscles. So many times people get stuck on one tired method and use it over and over. There are many weight trainers that think the only way to work their traps is to use an unreasonable amount of weight, which results in ineffective training.

So I asked him why he was doing what he was doing. He said, “Traps are where it’s at!” I tend to agree with him.

Your trapezius muscles sit on your shoulders and span from the edge of your shoulders all the way to your neck.

Traps are a muscle that separates the men from the boys. They can be an amazing sight, and can be downright scary, and sometimes just ridiculously big. Big traps can be the difference between you looking like a person that lifts weights and a person that doesn’t. Big traps can be the difference in a fit guy looking like a fitness model, or a bodybuilder. Huge traps basically send a message, they are a statement. What are your traps saying?

Trapezius “Trap” Exercises

Most people associate building big traps with “Shrugs.” The shrug is a good exercise for trap development, but it’s not the only one. The shrug has been around for years and is a staple for building traps just as the bench press is for the chest. I can’t deny that the shrug hits the traps well, but I would like to assert to you that there are others moves that can be effective in developing the coveted traps. Below is an effective trap building routine that will deliver excellent results.

1. Shrugs 3 sets X 10 – 12 reps

These had to be included, they are the key to a successful trap training. Now I know we have all done shrugs before, but I would like to included a few tips. Now I know that when I use the standard shrug form and fully contract my traps, they end up hitting my neck resulting in a limited contraction. If you push your head as far forwardas possible, it will remove your neck from the range of motion and allow your traps to fully contract. Once you have flexed your traps, hold the position for two seconds and slowly release. It is also good to sit on a bench to avoid cheating.

2. Lateral Raises, with Traps Flared 3 X 12-15

This one is tough. First, you need to flare your traps while holding the dumbbells. Next, simply perform a lateral raise. This is just like a normal lateral raise where you lock your elbows and lift the dumbbells directly out to your side to where they are parallel with he ground. The lateral raise usually hits your deltoids, but when you flare your traps it concentrates the movement to them for maximum isolation. Start with 12 to 15 reps and don’t use too much weight so that you will maintain proper form and get used to the movement.

3. Bent over lateral raises, with Traps Flared 3 X 10 – 12

The bent over lateral raise is just like the last move but obviously bent over. This is good for hitting the back of your traps which helps you look more built, defined and strong from behind. You will want to bend at the waist at about a 45 degree angle.

These couple moves will greatly increase the size of your traps. Just add a few sets of each to the end of your workouts. If you are doing a split routine and work your deltoids (shoulders) on a seperate day, these exercises would fit in perfectly on that day.

Add this quick trap routine to your schedule and watch your traps explode in muscle growth!

Hello, everyone and thanks for stopping by. If you are reading this then I assume that you are looking for a way to increase your vertical leap. Well, look no further, you have come to the right place.

My name is Brayden Fisher and I was able to increase my vertical leap by 12 inches. This didn’t come overnight, it took me about 7 months of HARD WORK. People ask me ALL THE TIME, how I was able to increase my vertical leap so I decided to write this article and explain it.

How I Was Able To Increase My Vertical Leap From 31 to 43 Inches

If you want to increase your vertical leap you need to know HOW to train and WHY your are training a certian way. If you know WHY you are doing a certain exercise you will train better and you will progress faster.

There were two areas I had to focus on in order to improve my vertical leap: increasing my POWER and EXPLOSION.

Now not everyone will understand what I mean when I say….POWER. So I will explain….power for us is our STRENGTH X SPEED. Our POWER is the amount of force we are able to put down to propel us into the air. The more force we have the higher we will travel. It’s that simple.

One reason I had such great results was because I used a combination of strength and plyometric workouts.

Most people spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME focusing on their calves when trying to improve their vertical leap. These are not the muscles you should be worried about. 80 percent of your jumping power comes from the quads and hamstings. Since these are the muscles that give us most of our power, we are going to focus on improving their strength.

The basics are covered. Time for the exercises…

The Best Exercises I Used to Increase My Vertical Leap

If you implement these exercises into your workouts you WILL increase your vertical leap. Just remember, it isn’t going to happen overnight. You will have to train HARD and lift really HEAVY weight to get the results you want.

Just because I was able to increase my vertical with these exercises doesn’t mean that these are the best exercises for you. For instance, maybe you already have really strong quads and hamstrings. If this is the case, then doing heavy squats may not give you the results you want. Instead focus on plyometrics and developing your speed and fast twitch muscle fibers.

Although, as a general rule, if you can’t squat at least twice your body weight then hit the weights. If you can, then focus on more plyos. Here are a few of the top exercises I recommend:

- Squats – Deadlifts – Good Mornings – Hamstring Curls – Calve Raises – Knee Ups – Depth Jumps – 50 and 100 Yard Sprints – Use the Jump Rope

When doing the strength exercises we want to make sure we are lifting as heavy weight as possible and do no more than 3 sets of 8 reps. Try to train with 80-85% of your one rep max. This will insure that you are recruiting all of your muscle fibers and motor units.

It would be impossible for me to tell you everything you need to know about how I was able to increase my vertical leap from one article. So I recommend heading over to my other websites to get more info:

In the sixties when Arnold Schwarzenegger started competing in bodybuilding competitions, it was a run-down, little known sport. Since then, it has merged into a multi-million dollar phenomenon – and arguably, Arnold was the man who started it all.

Better known for his acting days and career in politics, Arnold has always had a winning mentality in whatever he’s done – and that all started in his bodybuilding days.

Arnold trained intensively. Sometimes twice a day to trick his muscles into growing when he’d hit a plateau. These days, however, bodybuilding know-how has come along a fair bit and there are now very simple yet effective ways of building muscle.

There are many gain muscle work outs that you can from the internet, but for now, let’s just look at the basics, and the things Arnold Schwarzenegger himself was doing to prepare for his first Mr. Universe title at the tender age of 22.

First of all you must know that there are three key rules that you must follow-

* Training – You must have a very specific and strict gain muscle work out regime

* Eating – You must eat healthy foods and eat a lot of them every day

* Rest – Muscles only grow while you rest, not in the gym. Your body will force your muscles to grow while you sleep if you are training properly.

Now, focusing on work outs, first of all you should train three times per week for an hour each session. Always have one or two day’s rest between each workout. Train each muscle group only once per week and try to stay away from cardio exercise.

Workout 1

Squats, Deadlifts, Calf Raises, Abdominals.

Workout 2

Bent-Over Rows, Bicep Curls, Lat Pull Downs, Lateral Raises

Workout 3

Shoulder Press, Abdominals (optional), Tricep Curls, Bench Press

For each exercise, complete as follows

* 2 warm-up sets of 8 reps (don’t work to failure) * Increase weight and perform 1 set of 8 reps (work to failure) * Increase weight and perform 1 set of 6 reps (work to failure) * Increase weight and perform 1 set of 4 reps (work to failure) * Increase weight and perform 1 set of 2-4 reps (work to failure) * Drop the weight back down to the weight of your first set and work to failure * Half that weight and work to failure

Follow this gain muscle work out program, combined with a good diet and plenty of rest, and you’ll be built like Arnold Schwarzenegger within months!

Every generation grows up with the same idea of what super heroes look like; and unless it’s saving the world one book at a time, I’m betting you haven’t found a pale and skinny hero yet. We’ve stopped watching cartoons a long time ago, but the physical standards of what heroes look like don’t really ever leave us. If you want to look like one, you have to learn the best ways on how to build chest muscle fast.

Beauty is in the inside of course, but it doesn’t hurt if people see it on the outside too now does it? There’s nothing wrong with that: you look good, you feel good. Your mission, should you wish to take it, is to know how to build chest muscle the best way possible. Even great men need help once in a while.

To effectively build chest muscle fast you need to understand the workouts that will work in the specific areas in your chest. The incline barbell bench for instance will target the upper chest muscles. Use slow and purposeful movements and feel the burn when you do. Don’t let the bar touch your chest because this will remove from the stress you want to put on the chest also putting strain on your shoulder joints as well.

Use the decline barbell bench press and the decline dumbbell fly to exercise your lower chest muscles. Have a spotter nearby to assist you in lifting because the angle may be a little tricky especially for those who are attempting to do this for the first time.

And last but not the least; get that wide and strong chest by exercising your inner and outer chest muscles with flat bench dumbbell fly. Maintain the correct form throughout the whole drill. Keep careful watch that your shoulders don’t move forward as you extend the weights back to its original position. If you do, this will strain your shoulders and might cause you problems in the future. In training, the proper way of executing the exercises is more important than hurrying through it just to complete the required reps and sets.

If you are only beginning this high intensity workout to build up your chest, expect loud protestations from your body in the form of aches and soreness. Keep at it because you are developing strength even in your sleep. After a few weeks, execute the same exercises but give it all you’ve got-train to your body’s maximum tolerance level. When you push the targeted muscles to the limits, muscle growth is accelerated. Have a trained instructor nearby to assist you in these endeavors.

Put in more drills into your weight training program. Vary it up after four to six weeks with different weight loads, sets and exercises. Doing so will ensure that your body does not hit a plateau and stagnate. Keep challenging it and it will rise up to meet your expectations. Work the serratus anterior with pullovers. Bring in more dumbbell flyes-this isolates and builds up your pecs more.

Take these tips and run with it; they will help you build chest muscle fast. Maybe you’re not a super hero yet– but with your new physique, everybody will think you are one anyway.

Building muscle mass and doing quickly requires extreme commitment and dedication. Anyone can choose to follow a path to building muscle, however there are many who jump in full throttle without doing the research first. This mistake leads to a plateau which in turn leaves the person frustrated, and eventually they quit. Below, I will show some important tips to build muscle mass quickly, correctly and most importantly; safely.

A good foundation for muscle growth.

Firstly, the first and very common plateau that bodybuilders reach is usually 2-3 months away from the day they begin training in the gym. During this time, they will be unable to increase their weights and hence, they fail to make any further gains in muscle mass. The cause of the plateau is usually a bad foundation. When you begin weight training, you have to start off with at least 10 strength training workouts. These workouts serve to prepare your body for high intensity workouts. To prepare your body well for muscle growth, you will have to train with lighter weights with high repetitions and excellent form for these 10 workouts.

Focusing solely on the upper body.

The next common mistake bodybuilders make is that they focus solely on building up the upper body. This mistake also leads to a plateau. Inexperienced bodybuilders tend to focus on the upper body mainly because that is the part you can see. Areas such as the abs, arms and chest what are what everyone sees and wants to change. However, in order to build muscle mass, all areas of the body must receive the same attention. Muscle groups such as the thighs are highly important and should not be ignored.

Doing Too Much Of Isolated Exercises.

Exercises that train only a certain muscle group are called isolated exercise. This is another common mistake beginners make. Bicep curls and tricep extensions are a couple of examples of these exercises. In order to achieve muscle mass, the entire body must be included in the exercise regimen. Therefore, compound exercises must be implemented. These exercises allow the muscles to achieve higher weight which in turn forces them to adapt to the increase and grow.

Have I surprised you with these common mistakes made by beginners? Are you one of those who make such mistakes without knowing that it would lead you to a frustrating plateau? Bodybuilding is all about our body. Proper research and study is important before we begin in our quest to build muscles. Without the correct information, you could be attaining only half the results of another bodybuilder who puts in half the effort. To build muscles efficiently, learn from bodybuilders who will be happy to teach you how to gain muscle mass fast.

If you are just starting out on a body building program it is useful to determine what body type you are to know how well you are going to respond to an exercise program and weight training and any modifications you will need to your training program. Often it is as simple as looking in the mirror, and studying your overall body shape to see what type you fall into.

Tall and skinny people often fall into the group which are known as endomorphs. This group are often termed as the classic hard gainers and many people who fall into this group find that no matter what they eat or how hard they train they still find it difficult to bulk up.

The biggest advantage with this group, however, that it is also difficult to gain fat as well as muscle. The advantage of this is that once you do start to put on muscle it will be lean muscle with very little fat which will give a good ripped look. In this scenario you do not have to actually put on as much muscle as you will look bigger due to the higher definition.

The next classification are the mesomorphs. Usually they are shorter, heavier, squat and naturally have more muscle. Many of these guys will usually say they only need to look at a set of dumbbells and put on muscle.

For the mesomorphic group a less intense workout program is required to put on lean muscle mass. The biggest problem, however, is actually putting on fat as well as muscle during the bulking up phase. As a result, a higher proportion of protein in the daily calories will be required in the diet compared to the endomorphs.

The ideal amount of daily intake of protein for endomorphs is around 2g per kilogram of body weight. It is also important to increase general calorie intake to stimulate an anabolic state.

Excellent gains can be achieved by both body types but those with ectomorphic bodies will have to work harder in the gym to stimulate muscle growth and will also have to increase calorie intake. With mesomorphs it is important to be careful about increasing fat levels and often, many will find they end up cycling between bulking up and losing fat.
